Are you interested in clinical problem-solving and more in-depth bedside teaching classes? You love Pediatrics and are motivated to learn the Anglo-American way of presenting patient cases in an interactive way and thus improve your medical English?

The Munich group of IPOKRaTES Students is delighted to present to you our upcoming seminar on Pediatrics, taking place in April 2025! For this seminar, Madan Kumar, DO (University of Chicago) and Clifford Lo, MD (Harvard Medical School, Boston) will join us for the week to teach highly dedicated medical students the essentials of Pediatrics alongside interactive case presentations from the ward.

What to expect?
Learning with others is a key element of our seminar, and the small group size (18-20 students) guarantees optimal conditions for intensive studying. You can expect patient examinations, case presentations and lectures from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. every day. There will also be guest lectures by faculty members. You will meet and get to learn from some of the finest teachers, whom you will also get to know on a personal level in informal get-together events planned in the evenings throughout the week.

Requirements:

• Proof of enrollment in an accredited medical school.
• Working knowledge of English is required, while a working knowledge of German is recommended (the seminar will be held in English, patient examinations will most likely be in German)
