Interventional Radiology Global Outreach and Interventional Oncology

Why did you choose your specialty?

Because Interventional Radiology (IR) is absolutely amazing. We can intervene on pretty much any organ in the body through tiny pinholes using needles, catheters, and wires, thereby decreasing complication rates and shortening hospital stays. Our patients usually do not require general anesthesia for these procedures and can go home the same day. If this isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is.

Why did you choose to enter the IPOKRaTES STUDENTS organization?

Because I was kindly invited by Manpreet Nancy Kaur, one of the current Munich team members, and was curious to learn more about it and have more exchange with students in my old home Munich.

What makes IPOKRaTES STUDENTS so unique for you?

This I don’t know yet, but will update once I have something to report.

Which has been your best experience with IPOKRaTES STUDENTS so far?

To be determined.
