Interactive Online Seminar – Internal Medicine

Diligent IPOKRaTES Students organizers once again made lemonade out of lemons by organizing a fantastic online seminar and making the best out of the pandemic situation. This way, they enabled the continuation of our mission to connect motivated, like-minded students and lecturers from all over the world, and fuel their thirst for knowledge and excellent medical education.

This time, lecturers from the United States (Steve Mackey, Columbia University, New York, Helen Delichatsios, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Anastassios Pittas, Tufts University, Boston, Rajiv Bhagat, Lenox Hill Hospital, New York), the United Kingdom (Samir Patel, University of Bristol, Andreas Huber, Middlesbrough) as well as the Czech Republic (Hana Ciferska, Charles University in Prague) got together with 16 students from Austria and Germany for the “Interactive Case Presentations and Discussions Internal Medicine – Online Seminar.”

For Filipp Sokolovski and his team of organizers in Innsbruck, Austria it was their first online seminar. The terrific job they did is also reflected in the article the seminar received on the website of the Medical University of Innsbruck.
